Irrigation Designed Around the Landscape
Every landscape has different watering requirements. MANVAS designs irrigation around the planting, site conditions, water supply and zoning requirements before selecting the appropriate irrigation system.
Good Irrigation Starts With Good Design
A successful irrigation system depends on more than the equipment installed. Plant requirements, site conditions, water supply and zoning all affect how the system should be designed.
Plant Requirements
Different plants and lawn areas have different watering needs.
Site Conditions
Sun exposure, soil, slope and landscape layout influence how water should be delivered.
Water Supply
Available flow and pressure affect how many areas can operate effectively.
Zoning
Areas with different watering requirements should be controlled independently.
The MANVAS Approach
We start with the landscape, understand the available water, define the right zones, then select the system components to suit.
01 — Landscape
Understand the planting, lawn areas, soil, sun exposure, slope and site layout.
02 — Water
Assess the water source, available flow, pressure and existing infrastructure.
03 — Zones
Group areas according to how they need to be watered and controlled.
04 — System
Select the controller, valves, filtration, pressure management and irrigation methods to suit the design.
Different Plants. Different Zones. Different Watering.
Different areas of a landscape often require different irrigation methods. Lawn, garden beds, hedges and planters should be considered separately according to their watering requirements and site conditions.
How the System Works
A well-designed irrigation system brings water supply, control, pressure management and the appropriate delivery method together as one coordinated system.
Water Source → Filtration & Pressure Management → Valves → Irrigation Zones → Spray / Rotor / Drip → Landscape
The controller manages when each zone operates, while the hydraulic system delivers water through the method selected for each part of the landscape.
What MANVAS Can Help With
From new landscape projects to existing irrigation upgrades, MANVAS can design and configure systems around the requirements of each site.
New Irrigation Systems
Irrigation designed for new gardens, landscape renovations and projects where the system can be planned together with the landscape.
Existing System Assessment & Upgrade
We can assess existing controllers, valves, zones and irrigation performance before recommending what should be retained, repaired, modified or replaced.
Serviceable existing components may be retained where appropriate.
Tank-Fed & Custom Systems
Irrigation systems incorporating rainwater tanks, pumps, filtration, pressure management or project-specific zoning can be configured to suit site requirements.
From Assessment to Handover
Every irrigation project starts with understanding the landscape, water source and existing conditions. From there, MANVAS defines the appropriate zones, system requirements and installation approach.
Assessment → Design → Installation → Testing & Handover
Whether you are planning a new system or improving an existing one, we can help determine the right next step for your landscape.
